First printing thus with no additional printings listed. Hardcover book bound in rust rust cloth covered boards with titles in black. The book size is 5.5 by 8 inches, 395 pages with Bibliography and Glossary at rear, plus Index. Also includes several pages of 'simple menus for one week' at rear. Four pages of vintage ads for Lowney's chocolates end this volume. Beautifully illustrated in color with 8 glossy double-sided color plates. 3 plates illustrate meat cutting and five plates illustrate 20 beautiful desserts. All color illustrations present and correct.

Condition: This hardcover book is in Good plus condition. The book covers have slight edge wear -see photo. The inside pages are cream-colored with very slight yellowing to the end of pages; they are supple and lay flat. The glossy illustrations are all present in pristine condition. .
